Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival in Rovaniemi Arrival in Rovaniemi. Welcome to Finland! Your driver will pick you up from the airport to bring you to your comfortable Lapland Hotel Ounasvaara Chalets, located on top of the Ousnasvaara fell. Here you can observe the local flora and fauna, and perhaps, see a reindeer! Dinner and night at the chalet.
- Day 2: Rovaniemi Breakfast at the accommodation. A new day starts, and the possibilities in Rovaniemi are endless! How about you meet the local reindeers? Perhaps a Northern Lights hunt? A one in a life-time experience. We can arrange several activities in the area based on your wishes. Dinner and night at the chalet.
- Day 3: Rovaniemi Breakfast at the accommodation. Enjoy your day in Rovaniemi – while you are here, why don’t you say hello to Santa? He is waiting for you at the Santa Claus village. Send a postcard from Santa’s post office and explore the area. Dinner and night at the chalet.
- Day 4: Rovaniemi – Saariselkä After a breakfast at the accommodation, you will take a transfer to the bus station, and then a bus to Kakslauttanen, before a final transfer to your new hotel, the Wilderness Hotel Muotka. Did you know that Saariselkä was located by the Urho Kekkonen National Park?
- Day 5: Saariselkä Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the private sauna located in your cabin, and let us know what we can arrange for your trip to be perfect. Accommodation and dinner in Muotka.
- Day 6: Saariselkä Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy your day at leisure in Saariselkä. Accommodation and dinner in Muotka.
- Day 7: Departure Breakfast and transfer to Ivalo airport according to your own itinerary.
