Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival on the Faroe Islands
Arrival at Vágar Airport with Atlantic Airways. Transport from airport to overnight accommodation in Tórshavn. Check-in at your accommodation in Tórshavn.

Day 2: Excursion Northern Islands
Breakfast at hotel. Today you have time to explore the beautiful capital of the Faroe Islands with its vibrant houses and unique vibe. Enjoy an old town city walk or a guided three hour tour in and around Tórshavn and to the historical village of Kirkjubø on a bike.

Day 3: At your own leisure
Day at leisure. Breakfast at the accommodation. You have time to explore the capital city as well as the possibility to book an additional excursion like a day trip to the puffin island Mykines.
Optional: Day trip to island of Mykines: Enjoy a scenic boat tide to the stunning island of Mykines. On Mykinesholm you can see gannets that only breed on this island.
Optional: City walk in Tórshavn (1 hour): Experience the charming town of Tórshavn while walking through its small streets.
- Day 4: Excursion Vestmanna cliffs & Viking settlements Today, you will explore the Vestmanna sea cliffs by boat. En route, you will see grottos and cliffs while cruising through narrow sounds. On your way back to Tórshavn, you will stop at the small village of Kvivik where you get to see how the Vikings lived back in the days.
- Day 5: Excursion Sandoy and Kirkjubøur. Breakfast at accommodation. Today you will have a day trip to the historic island of Sandoy.
- Day 6: Day trip Highlights of Streymoy and Eysturoy. Discover these two islands comfortable by bus. Be amazed by the small colourful villages, untouched nature & the many stories the locals can tell.
- Day 7: Daytrip Vágar Optional: Day trip to island of Vágar: Before heading to the island of Vágar, you will stop in Bour where you will get the best look on Drangarnir, the freestanding rocks. Then, you will continue to Mulafossur, one of the most well-known waterfalls in the Faroe Islands.
- Day 8: Departure Departure.
