A memorable trip to the Arctic Circle

Our annual Kick Off took place in Tromsø and the beautiful island of Sommarøy deep within the Arctic Circle. Looking back on the last year and everything we’ve achieved; we are even more excited to work towards our goals for 2023 and are so proud to have such excellent colleagues.

Arrival in Tromsø

We got welcomed in beautiful Tromsø, and stayed at Clarion Hotel The Edge, a modern hotel in the city centre. After everybody checked in, the Kick Off Committee lead us on a treasure hunt so we could get to know the city a bit better. The treasure hunt ended at the Hurtigruten terminal, where we were surprised to learn that Anette, our CEO, was on the boat that arrived!

Evening Aurora Cruise on Brim Explorer

In the evening Brim Explorer hosted us for an Aurora dinner cruise. Even though we didn’t get to see any Northern Lights, the experience was amazing. The food was very tasty, made with local ingredients which the wine complimented nicely.

Sommarøy Island

Just an hour drive away lies the beautiful island Sommarøy – an arctic paradise. We got to stay in the beautiful rooms at the Sommarøy Arctic Resort. Once we arrived, we got caught in a winter storm, so our planned boat excursion had to be cancelled because of safety reasons. So, we went for a lovely walk along the beach instead!

Cooperation – Wellbeing – Engagement

This year all of us got to vote for colleagues that incorporate our value words cooperation, wellbeing and engagement. We are lucky to be able to work with such fantastic people so it was quite difficult to choose the winners.
