Reykjavík City Break
There is something mystical about Iceland and something very cool about the capital city, Reykjavik! When you think about Iceland, what first comes to mind are the Blue Lagoons, the mud pools, the spurting geysers, the glaciers, and not to forget: the dancing Northern lights! Iceland is swiftly becoming the playground of the adventurous…and why not? It has so much to offer! Iceland is the least densely populated country in Europe, allowing you to truly appreciate its vast open spaces, the fresh air, its people, culture, and not to forget, the beauty!
Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival in Reykjavík On arrival at Keflavík airport, you will take a shuttle bus to your hotel.
- Day 2: Reykjavík Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Today you will discover Reykjavik on foot during a 2-hour walking tour with a real Viking! During the tour you visit all the highlights of Reykjavik city center and get to know hidden spots, like a visit to a genuine elf home and other local gems.
- Day 3: Golden Cirlce After eating a lovely breakfast at the hotel, you will departure on the ‘Golden Circle Tour’. During this tour you will be experiencing some of the ‘must see’ sights of Iceland. First, you will visit the Þingvellir National Park, home to the Icelandic parliament Alþingi that was founded in year 930. Next, the beautiful waterfall Gullfoss awaits you, here you can walk so close to the edge that you might feel the mist of the glacial water on your face. The last part of the journey continues towards the geothermal area, which is located around some incredible spouting hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur.
- Day 4: Blue Lagoon You wake up all excited, as today will be the day that you are visiting the Blue Lagoon! After enjoying your breakfast, you will visit one of Iceland’s most popular attractions. The Blue Lagoon is a natural geothermal pool in the middle of a large and dramatic lava field. It is an oasis that owes its existence to a nearby geothermal power plant, looming large over the aqua tinted waters. Here, you will have the chance to take a bath in this surreal environment, a unique experience no one should miss. After a great day full of experiences, you will take the shuttle bus back to the hotel and spend the rest of your time at leisure.

Day 5: Departure
An unforgettable experience comes to an end. You will depart, taking the transfer by shuttle bus to Keflavík airport. Whilst you are daydreaming about your amazing experiences from the past days, you are already thinking of planning your next visit to Iceland! No worries, Iceland is more than happy to welcome you back.
