On our Husky Safari, you’ll have the chance to drive the sled yourself, sharing the experience with a partner as you switch drivers halfway. Ice Fishing Trip with Snowmobile Sleigh
During this day, you’ll learn fascinating facts about life in the North. We’ll take a delightful snowmobile sleigh ride to the best ice-fishing spots. Our guide will show us how to drill holes in the ice, and then we’ll see who can catch the most fish. If we’re lucky enough to catch some, we might even cook it over an open fire! The day includes a delicious lunch prepared by the fire.

Aurora Hunt by Car
Join us on a trip by car to the famous Paatsjoki Bridge. Since the River Paatsjoki never freezes, it creates stunning reflections in the open water when the Aurora Borealis appears. This bridge is a favorite spot among Aurora photographers. We’ll spend the evening on the bridge, enjoying hot drinks to keep us warm while we marvel at the spectacular light show.

Reindeer Day with Snowmobile
The guide will share fascinating insights into Sámi culture and life in the North. You’ll have the chance to feed the reindeer—these curious animals might even eat right from your hand! Enjoy a lunch served outdoors by an open fire. During the activity, we’ll also visit Nellim Church. Please note, the snowmobile driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license in Finland.

Meet the Reindeers
Reindeer and reindeer herding play a significant role in the history of Northern Finland. On the “Meet the Reindeer” guided tour, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the reindeer herding lifestyle. The guide will share insights into Sámi culture and the life of reindeer. You’ll have the opportunity to feed these curious animals, who may even come up and eat right from your hand.

Cross-Country Skiing
In the old days, cross-country skiing was the primary means of transportation, and it’s a skill that’s deeply ingrained in Finnish heritage. There’s no quieter way to explore frozen and snowy landscapes than on cross-country skis. Our guide will teach you how to use the skis, and once everyone is comfortable, we’ll set out on a scenic loop through the surrounding nature. We’ll take our time, stopping to snap photos and enjoy warm drinks along the way.

Snowmobile Safari
No trip to Northern Finland is complete without experiencing snowmobiling, even if you’re only visiting for a short time. You’ll start by getting acquainted with the snowmobile, receiving thorough safety instructions, and a driving lesson from our guide. Once everyone feels confident, we’ll embark on a short journey through the nearby surroundings. Please note that the snowmobile driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license in Finland.

On this excursion, we will head to the Nellim forests and hills. During the trek you will learn interesting stories and information about Finnish nature and animals. Aurora Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing in the woods at night has its own excitement. We will wander in the Nellim woods and surroundings, until finally reaching the campsite. At the campsite we will enjoy some warm drinks and gaze at the sky hoping for a possible Northern Lights show.
