In case you crave more nature during your trip, you have the possibility to simply add this “Norway in a Nutshell” tour. This is perfect to enjoy the Norwegian nature and one of its most popular sights: the Flåm Railway. Hop on the train and dive into nature with us!
This can be added to a city-break or operated as a roundtrip.
Itinerary
- Day 1: Oslo – Flåm Today starts your little adventure in Norway’s nature. After breakfast in Oslo, you board the train to Myrdal. Lean back and enjoy the ride. In Myrdal, you switch the train to the famous Flåm Railway bound for Flåm. Lean back and enjoy the amazing landscape surroundings. Once you arrived in Flåm, you can stroll around the small town and sit by the fjord and enjoy the sunset. You will stay overnight in this cosy little town.
- Day 2: Flåm – Bergen Waking up to a nice view over the fjord is pretty unique! After breakfast, you continue your tour by boarding the boat to Gudvangen. Lean back and make sure to get a good view while you are cruising over the famous Nærøyfjord. In Gudvangen, you are met by your bus and driver to continue your trip towards Bergen. Bergen was the largest town in the north in the Middle Ages and until 1830, it was the largest town of the country. Therefore, it is a very important trade- and shipping town. You stay in Bergen for the night.
- Day 6: Departure Depending on your agenda, you will either be going homewards today, or you continue your city break to the next fantastic city in Scandinavia.
