New Year Magic at Apukka
A true favourite, enjoy this New Year package, at Apukka resort in Rovaniemi. You will escape the cities, and the crowds and be transported to a true winter wonderland. During this four-night package, you will sleep in authentic accommodation under the Arctic sky, enjoy a festive dinner on the 31st December, and get up close with huskies. We have a snow train included, a great excursion to search for the Northern lights.
Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival in Rovaniemi Transfer from Rovaniemi Airport to Apukka Resort. The transfer will take approximately 15 minutes. Dinner and overnight in an Aurora cabin.
- Day 2: Huskies Enjoy a buffet breakfast, a good way to start your day. Today, we have a husky excursion planned. You will hear the huskies getting excited as you get ready for this special experience. The tour will cover 7-10km, afterwards you are welcome to spend some time with the huskies. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner is served at Attila restaurant. The day’s fun is not yet over. This evening search for the Northern lights by snow train. This three-hour excursion includes tales and a bonfire too. Return to Apukka, and overnight in an Aurora cabin.
- Day 3: Happy New Year Today is yours, we have a list of supplementary and optional excursions, and will be happy to assist you with the planning. If you need some local tips, we highly recommend a visit to Santa Calus village, and or a snowmobile excursion. You will be spoilt with the choice to fill your day. This evening a festive New Year dinner is included as you relax, and welcome in the new year! Overnight in an Aurora cabin
- Day 4: Free Time Welcome 2025; Please refer to our options for this day, or if preferred simply enjoy slow travel and take in the beauty of your surroundings on site at Apukka resort. Dinner and overnight in an Aurora cabin.
- Day 5: Departure Departure day, after breakfast, a transfer is included to take you to Rovaniemi airport according to your flight arrangements
