Welcome to Tromsø, the Gateway to the Arctic, with the most Northern Lights in the world! On this tour the Northern Lights might be your fireworks when starting the New Year. Join us to explore the Paris of the North, Tromsø and spend the New Years Eve surrounded by mountains and fjords. What better way to celebrate the New Year than with stunning nature around you!
Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival in Tromsø Take the bus to the city-centre. Check in at the hotel. Accommodation in a 4-star hotel in Tromsø.
- Day 2: Tromsø & Northern Lights Excursion Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and get ready for a day of exploring and light adventure. This evening we have included a treat, a minibus tour to seek out the magical Northern lights. During the evening your guide will tell you interesting information about the Northern lights, both the science and the folklore. Enjoy some snow fun and a bonfire with marshmallows. Accommodation in a 4-star hotel in Tromsø.
- Day 3: New Year’s Eve Breakfast at the hotel and day at leisure. For dinner, get onboard an electric boat and savour your evening. Accommodation in a 4-star hotel in Tromsø.
- Day 4: Day at Leisure Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy another day in Tromsø and make use of the many activities offered: husky tours, snowmobiling, reindeer sledding or snowshoeing, the choices are plenty! We can include activities.
- Day 5: Departure Breakfast at the hotel and take the bus back to Tromsø airport in the morning.
