It’s a wonderful time of the year, get lost in the magic of the festive season in Porvoo, Helsinki and Tallinn. This one package offers three very unique experiences. Start in the old town of Porvoo, known for its well-preserved 18th and 19th century buildings and the 15th century cathedral. Porvoo is located approximately 50 minutes from the Capital, Helsinki, which is your next stop – in Helsinki you can enjoy the city vibe, in slow motion. There is something unique to experience around every corner. A day trip to Tallinn is an absolute must do. Tallinn is a mere 85km from Helsinki, this historic Hanseatic town offers a thousand opportunities for enjoyable moments.
Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival A transfer of approximately 35 minutes from Helsinki Vantaa Airport to RUNO hotel is included. The Runo hotel is housed in a building well over 100 years old, and today is highlighted as a design hotel offering new in a truly old setting.
- Day 2: Porvoo Enjoy a truly scrumptious breakfast at the RUNO hotel, an experience on its own. Some dishes are homemade and sourced from local ingredients. Spend the day exploring Porvoo’ old town, and cobbled streets, museums, and the cathedral. We highly recommend a two-hour guided walk with an authorized guide. If you decide to venture into the new town, you will find a contrast of vintage shops and modern malls.
- Day 3: Helsinki Breakfast is served at the hotel. Today you will head off to the Capital, Helsinki. The journey is less than an hour. From Runo hotel walk approximately five minutes to the bus stop – board one the of the several busses that take you directly to Helsinki city center. *Please note the bus fare is not included and you will be required to pay on the spot. Check in to your city centre hotel, home for the next three nights.

Day 4: Daytrip to Tallinn
Breakfast is served at the hotel. Today you head off to Tallinn. Depart in the morning by ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn. You will have the day to explore the romantic old town, with it’s small boutiques and many cosy coffee shops. You will see medieval architecture in the old town, and should you decide to venture beyond the castle you see the contrast of a modern city. Ferry back to Helsinki in the late afternoon. Overnight in Helsinki.
- Day 5: Helsinki Breakfast is served at the hotel. Spend the day getting lost in Helsinki. A city that is quirky, urban, and close to nature. The design shops all around Helsinki are worth visiting, as is the many well-known sights such as the market square, and Kaivopuisto Park.
- Day 7: Departure Breakfast is served at the hotel. Departure to the airport according to your travel arrangements.
