Day 01:                               Arrival

Welcome to Oslo! At the airport a bus will wait to take you to a centrally located hotel.

Day 02:                               Oslo city tour with Holmenkollen

Enjoy the capital of Norway, beautifully located at the end of the Oslofjord. Together with your guide you will explore the most important attractions of the city, such as the Vigeland Sculpture park, the town hall, and the Akershus fortress. Go on top of Holmenkollen, the ski jump hill from which you will have a breathtaking panorama view of the city and the fjord. In the afternoon we recommend to take a guided tour at the opera (extra charge), which from the outside looks like an iceberg floating in water. Here you can admire the spectacular architecture, or several impressive possibilities on and behind the stage. Also recommended is a visit to the architecture museum (extra charge), where you can admire modern and historical themes through paintings, pictures and models.

Day 03:                               Bygdoy, Tjuvholmen and Vulkan

Experience the old and the new Norway. You will start at the Norsk Folkemuseum, where just within a few hours you will get to know the whole country with the help of traditional buildings from Norway, art objects and historically dressed museum staff. In the afternoon you will find out more about the transformation of the Oslo dock area and visit two new parts of the town, Vulkan and Tjuvholmen. These two districts are perfect examples for the modern Scandinavian city planning. Vulkan offers innovative and environmentally friendly architecture in the former industry district on the shore of the river Akerselva. Tjuvholmen on the other hand shows a choice of nowadays architecture trends along the Oslofjord. Here you also have the possibility to walk across the pedestrian bridge “Akrobaten”, to enjoy a view on the Barcode and other high buildings in Oslo.

Day 04:                               Departure

An incredible journey is coming to its end. The bus will take you from the hotel back to the airport and afterwards back home. Have a good flight!
