Itinerary

Day 1: Reykjavik
Arrival at Keflavik Airport (own arrangement), from where a transfer bus will take you to your hotel in Reykjavik. If time allows you are free to explore the capital of Iceland.

Day 2: Golden Circle and Northern Lights’ Hunt
Today’s tour will take you to the must see-sights of Iceland. Drive around the fertile lowlands of Southern Iceland and visit one of Iceland’s most magnificent waterfalls, Gullfoss; the erupting hot springs in the Geysir region, from which this natural phenomenon was named; and the outstandingly beautiful Þingvellir National Park. In the evening we will take you on a guided northern lights’ hunt. The Northern Lights are also known as the Aurora Borealis, a spectacular natural phenomenon, dancing across the Arctic sky in vivid colors. The locations visited depend on where it’s most likely to see the Northern Lights on this particular day. Tour is also dependent on weather and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Day 3: South Shore Adventure
On this excursion you can marvel at the Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. You will travel along the South Coast of Iceland as far as Vík í Mýrdal, a small charming village surrounded by beautiful high bird cliffs. Enjoy the stunning views of glaciers, waterfalls, impressive rock formations and coastlines covered by black lava sand.

Day 4: Blue Lagoon
On this day it is time to visit the iconic Blue Lagoon. You will drive through rough lava fields in order to reach the Blue Lagoon, where you can relax in the rejuvenating geothermal water. The water is very pure and naturally rich in minerals – and believed to have healing powers. In the afternoon you can enjoy time on your own in Reykjavik.

Day 5: Homeward journey
A transfer bus will take you to Keflavik Airport, where you start your homeward journey (own arrangement).
